Shaman Yew Real life common applications for the spiritual person or modern/ancient shaman. The Muse Matrix Magazine has been laid to rest. There is a new magazine on the horizon and it is called Shaman Yew. Pronounced Sha-Man-U, you can clearly see it is a play on words; we like to be playful around these parts! The title conveys that there is a shaman in every one of “you”. Can this be true? Read an issue of Shaman Yew and find out what may be true and what is cuckoo. Our new magazine “Shaman Yew” strives to share life’s clues. Indeed, this is both a humorous and playful periodimag. It is a cross between a periodical and a magazine. It’s unusual artistic pages and how to stories will come out Monthly, premiering on the mystical street May 1 2012. Shaman Yew asks the question is anything sacred anymore? Learn about real life common applications for the spiritual person or modern/ancient shaman type. It has come to the editor’s attention that there are many spiritual souls without a knowledge cup to drink from, either due to limited religious upbringing, economic situations or just a down right lack of trust in people. Probably someone somewhere went and told them, “hey you’re crazy dude!" (many shaman women get the “dude” thing too). So as a result, many with that truly blessed creative touch, have lost the inspiration for the splendorous beauty of life and thus they have lost there drive to create beautiful things. This periodimag will inspire the lost to do beautiful things. Mostly, Shaman Yew inspires the wayward curiosity seeker bunch, to have good intentions and loving inventions (yes i said inventions) through the sharing of the uplifting stories about those like them. |
Sections of the periodimag will contain a center art gallery spread, monthly event calendar, music reviews, art reviews, a mind candy page, story areas, poetry and a free random bumper sticker. Topics within the mag will include, but are not limited to topics on music, art, photography,technology, science, metaphysics, paranormal, ancient texts, gardening, healing, knowledge of old ways of living that balances humans with Earth and universe and a special article series dubbed “how to have good clean fun when you are super spiritual, not crazy” a funny expose on human life in general. If you write, draw or have a poem or story you would like to contribute to Shaman Yew please email a 1 to 2 page works, by November 11, 2011. We can only choose five new articles and five new artists per issue. We are not responsible for your edits, beware we print it raw if the editor likes it. We do indeed, have enough trouble editing our own texts, so we don’t have time to edit yours. We do not pick every article to publish and reserve the right to deny blah, blah blah, you know the drill. Shaman Yew encourages you to use your intelligence and wisdom brain to know what is reality and what is hype. Shaman Yew will be distributed on the street for free, and mailed by Subscription to your realm for $10. Subscription sign up will be provided through this site starting February 1, 2012. |
